Release 0.3


Patch Notes for version 0.3

  • We have added saving! Now you can continue where you left off! 
  • We have changed what our version of hell looks like. Now the elves follow a path that floats above an abyss. With this visual design, we have added tiles that emerge from the abyss when you need to place buildings down. 
  • We have added better indication of when special waves will occur. (Every 3 waves or final wave)
  • We have added a UI indication of the turret range while you have it in your hand. We have also added a UI indication of the recommended tiles for you to place modules.
  • We have added new tiles and animations for the path that the enemies travel, the portals in the level and the tiles where you can place your buildings. 
  • We have added an end screen for each level that shows you your stats for the level and gives you a star rating. 
  • We have added animations to most of the UI elements. These animations make the game pop a bit more. 
  • We have reworked the portals and portal animations. 
  • We have re-worded the tooltips for the buildings to more clearly explain what each building does. 
  • We have fixed a font issue which caused the characters: "H", "L", "h" to be unrecognizable. 
  • We have re-balanced some of the modules and the enemy stats to adjust the game's difficulty to a better level. 

What's Next

We have decided that the next release will be the final one for this project. In the V1 release, we are planning to add one final level which will include a boss fight against Santa. That's right, Santa is finally going to Hell!

We will also be adding mobile web support and an Endless mode.
